We call him "Bucksaw"

Chris Sawyer is one of the icons of the tailgate. He's been with us since the start. He only missed one year, Last year. What was his excuse? He was on his honeymoon! I guess that's OK.
Some people call him Bucks, Some people call him Sawyer, but we call him BUCKSAW.

Loud, funny and a great cook, we even named a our Main Dish trophy after him "Bucksaw Award" after his first year win with his Deep Fried Turkey! At Game Time, Bucksaw is very intense, who knows what is going to come out his mouth, "you idiot" or he might give the Duce Staley craw. Bucksaw is also a winner of the "Irish Mike" award, so what is he bringing this year? You'll hve to be at the tailgate to find out!

Irish Mike Kelly

“Irish” Mike Kelly started it all. Yeah, Al and Chris stole his idea of a home tailgate party. We used to attend Mike’s tailgate and had such a good time, we decided to have our own, but we kicked it up notches unknown.

Our appetizer trophy is named after “Irish Mike”. He won the first appetizer contest with his steamed mussels covered with his special sauce. He won his own trophy 2 more times along with the Bucksaw Award which if for the best main dish. Mike comes to the tailgate each year with one thing on his mind, to win. He’s a cooking machine. Everyone always gathers around to see what Mike is cooking each year, he never disappoints. What’s Mike cooking this year? You’ll have to wait and see!

This will be Marlon Back's 6th year at the tailgate party and he wouldn’t miss it for anything! He won the “Irish Mike” appetizer trophy with his Grilled Chicken Quesadillas his first year here and has been back trying for more awards ever since.
